I had so much fun today working on my journal "échantillon Le Petit Trianon". I'm in junk journal heaven!

Inspired by the Georgian tales of Georgette Heyer and Baroness Orczy, particularly the wonderful movie Scarlett Pimpernel with the luminous Jane Seymore and dashing Anthony Andrews.  As well as the fascinating pre-revolution history of France and of course Marie-Antoinette. I have begun to assemble lovely bits and bobs for my journal pages.

I couldn't resist - I made some little papier-mâché slippers to wear as I take a turn around the gardens at Versailles. 

I love to use small vintage remembrances, the ribbon on this little charm is so beautiful.
